Harlem Shake Charity Videos

So…it seems the #CharityShakeOff  has uncovered a whole host of charity Harlem Shake videos. The hashtag on Twitter has seen them promote their moves so I thought I would put them all in one place for you all to see. I think it is fantastic that charities make the most of internet sensations by creating their own versions. It shows us that charities are made up of people, with personalities and passion, and people invest in people. So why not take a leaf out of their book and let your charity staff shine!

So then…who has the best moves? Use the comments section to tell me your favourite!

Macmillan (winner of the #CharityShakeOff)

RNLI

Mencap

Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research

Canal & River Trust

BBC Children In Need ( on Vine)

WWF (I think the panda made them do it…)

  1. Hi Kirsty, thank you so much for pulling all the charity Harlem Shakes together and creating the #CharityShakeOff! It was such a great idea. We had great fun creating the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research shake. We are currently 24 views off of our 3,000 target, if we pass this we will have managed to raise nearly £400 which is fantastic. Our supporters, staff, researchers, corporate partners and patients have all praised how creative and full of personality the charity is!

    Let the shake continue!

  2. Hi Vasileios, I’m not sure. I spotted it on the #CharityShakeOff twitter feed. It’s to promote their Midnight Walk fundraising event. Hopefully they get lots of sign-ups!

  3. Hi there, we posted our St Oswald’s Hospice Harlem Shake on Tuesday 5th March. We were a bit late to the #charityshakeoff party but had a great time making it and are thrilled that others are enjoying it too!

  4. Thanks for sharing. Our one at P3 is hot off the press. We’re doing it for an internal communicatiom/team building initiative. We’re based all over the country, so we’re challenging each office to do their own and see which is the best!
